The masses of this country are living in what Marx called a false consciousness. Most people believe they are middle class (despite their actual status), and when people are fed all of these carrots in the media (like shows that make rich people seem normal), it plants the false consciousness in their heads.  I for one am awake, I am working class, and know that I will never be rich, a lot of people need a fucking wake up call !!!!!

It's spreading... it's just happened in Canada! We have just given a majority to a Conservative government and their Machiavellian leader who are going to dismantle our social systems and anything that has anything to do with culture, history, fair play, environment... giving huge tax breaks to corporations and wealthy Canadians. Many of us here are wondering what the hell people were thinking when they gave him/them a huge majority.
