My mom had the same picc line----a single-lumen purple power picc line. She has Crohn's disease and she had a staph infection. I was trained on how to give her antibiotics via iv and how to flush her line. She's much better now. Hers wasn't pre-packaged, I had to prepare manual IV drips and we would be stuck at home for at least an hour with a 6 foot IV pole. I hope that you're feeling better!
