COM391: Islamic Center Visit

For our Michigan State University intercultural communications class we visited the Islamic Center of East Lansing. Great place, wonderful people and lots to learn!

I'm sure my classmates and professor at Michigan State University are going to have quite the good chuckle over your comments. Education is the key to freedom and not all Muslims are evil creatures as you describe. You should also research the history of Christianity which has by far caused more blood shed than any other religion. I wish you well; don't spread hate and negativity.

@TheProudKafir You should probably research this country's history before even assuming that you know what "American" is. Talk about radical religion, Christians have shed more blood than any other religion. No one religion has it 100% right lol. God doesn't want you hating people, he even said, "we are all his children". Try to apply that in your life. Do you have a college education or no?

WE ARE AMERICANS WHO LIKE THE AMERICAN WAY OF LIFE we do not desire to live in an ISLAMIC ruled country or we would MOVE to one. Some Muslims - like some Christians - have their own warped perversions of their beliefs - using their perveted version of their belief to justify the horrors you mention.

Of course, all decent people would be outraged and horrified by what you mention - but it is the exception not the rule.

We humans - as a species - are capable of sick horrific acts - but also do wonderful things

Its not a religion - its the human species - some commit crimes, pollute the earth, are greedy.

@YOOPERNEWSMAN My opinion is your freedom of religion ends when it required you to kill me. Muslim marry 6 year old girls most do not live a full year of married life!!! Muslim father rapes his 13 year old daughter then beheads her because now she is "DAMAGED" goods. Sorry I have read their book and their sharia law and I was everyone of them removed from my country unless they agree to uphold the Constitution of the USA.

It is very important for people of all faiths to understand each other - because we have much more in common - than we have differences.

Christians, Jews and Muslims must go the extra miles to become friends and learn about each others beliefs.
