The quality of the video is outstanding. The wide screen picture makes me think that a HD High Definition camera was used. Do you know what exact brand and model number camera was used and what format (HD, mini DV, Hi-8 mm, etc) was it done in?

It's Canon HV10 and miniDV tape. The camcorder is HDV. The latest model I believe is HV30. You can find tons of info at this website: dvinfo (dot) net (google canon hv10 dvinfo). Although the camcorder is a very good one, one thing I should mention is the motor noise. Most time it's below the normal tolerable level, but occasionally it would show up, as you can hear from this video.

I like miniDV tape for it's quality, reliability, and easy storage. If one screws up the tape, it'd be only one small segment. But if HD or DVD fails, it'd be the entire video (I think).

I know what you are saying. I used to think this way about dancers too - they are "too acrobatic". However, the styles are changing from the past. I personally think that Diana has danced this beautifully and with split second timing and poise. She is certainly not having a "bad" day. In fact, I think she is having a brilliant day.

My God, she's brilliant! This is probably the best Vishneva video on Youtube, (thank you!)everything considered. I wish there were more commercial DVD's of her available. We had good quality commercial video of Darcey Bussell from the time she was 20 right to the end of her career. I am concerned that not enough good quality footage is being shot of Diana in her youth.
