I got a boston , he's almost 3. Best damn dog I've ever had.

Cheese is brilliant. Cheap and you always have it around. My staffordshire bull terrier loves it. She does ANYTHING to get some. Once you find a snack that they really REALLY love, training them is unbelievably easy. 5-6 reps for most tricks. So fun :) Getting a boston terrier friend for her very soon. Looking forward to that :)
Nice video by the way!

What if someone made your do tricks for food? Yeah that would suck. Let your dog be a dog.

I have one too, but he's so aggressive, and I don't know how to make him behave better.

the dogg is cute but the video sucks

AWWWW!!!! i luv ur bostons!!! they remind me of mine!!!!!!
Thanks :) We use cheese alot because it's a bit smelly to get their attention and they love it. But we also use chicken and some store bought treats, although the cheese seems to work the best and is easiest to cut up in treat portions.

Their temperment is wonderful, they've NEVER been aggressive towards a person. Our younger dog has issues with other small dogs for some reason, so we keep a close eye on her around them, but that's it. In general, they say the Bostons don't need a lot of exercise. Our dogs get lots of play time. We get comments on how good of shape they are in everytime we go to the puppy school or the vet etc. Plus they love it :) I try to play ball with them an hour a day. They are great dogs, we love them.

We started ours at about the same time as well. Training classes really helped. But mostly lots of love, patience and cheese lol. They'll do anything for small bits of cheddar cheese. Oh, and it helps if you tire them out a bit before you start training. Thanks for the comment.

First Boston is 9 months old and the second is 2 years old at the time. That was 6 months or so ago. They are alot of fun :)

There was quite a bit of training involved. But they both took to it well. They are wonderful dogs and I would recommend them highly.
