  • Vero Beach is full of crap it has such a high homeless rate and it has no assistance for those who are struggling or low income. No public transportation, and if you are a normal everyday worker good luck finding a job that pays well or gives any hours. Rent is too high and income is too low. Another thing is that Indian River County is very hostile to it's youth. There is no place for them to hang out, and the Mall practically banned kids who are not rich and preppy! Don't let them lie to you!

  • Miami's version of the Hampton? It's not any where near Miami!

  • I love Vero and if you're homeless, get a job and a house!

  • @maipai101 how would you no this?

  • Yes, if you have alot of money in the bank Vero would be a great place to live. Lots of eager people to take advantage of. Look out for the crazy girl, she will take everything.

  • personally i love Vero Beach i've worked my ass off my entire life. for years i worked 90 hour weeks in a prison. now at 46 i am retired and loving life in vero. why are so many americans so eager to look for a free ride like it is an entitlement. if you receive assistance that means someone has to pay more in taxes so you can receive it. and by regular jobs maipai101 you been unskilled jobs. than maybe more people should try harder early in, life. you reap what you sow.

  • @maipai101 Interesting. When a community offers to take care of people such as homeless, homeless tend to flock there. And then what takes place? The city is full of homeless who do not want to contribute. Sure some homeless are disadvantaged, but there are programs for those people. If rent is too high and wages are too low, then move. Kids should not be "hanging out". They should be doing something constructive. What have YOU done for the community? Have you created any jobs?

  • 0_o they are laying it on THICK for Vero Beach...

  • I like vero beach :)

  • @NoCompromise83 Their not saying it's Miami. Their saying it's now to Miami what the hamptons are to Manhattan.

  • @maipai101 Finally somebody understands us! Thank you for proving a point, I skateboard and they always complain about us skating on private property and then fine us tickets but that's because they give us no where to skate at in vero. Of course they say, oh we have one in Sebastian but some of us don't have license to drive and are parents are busy trying to make money. And if kids aren't skating or playing sports, there is nothing for the youth to do but get into trouble in this town.

  • @IceeProductionsYT Thats the truth! So many people have came up to us saying they will talk to the city about building us a skate park but of course the retired rich looks down on the broke youth and the verdict is always a no. Theirs nothing for us to do but go to the beach and play sports but that gets old. And if you go to the mall they treat you like your from another planet. More kids get in trouble because of boredom in this town. Build us a super play or like a hang out area or something.
