NOT ME FOR SURE lol lol. She was great. She had starred a few months earlier in a TV adaptation of "Mrs. 'arris Goes to Paris," which is how I recognized her outside the studio prior to the Patti Page broadcast. I was also at the rehearsal, because I had been a huge fan of Patti's. Years later, I knew Guy Pastor, who had appeared on this particular episode with his brother and father (Tony Pastor) and he lent me his kinescope, which I transferred to video. I still have it, in pristine condition.

I was actually in the audience for this show, which was broadcast live, not on film or tape. I got to talk to Gracie and she was thrilled that young people, especially in America, still knew who she was. A few years later I got to attend her farewell concert at New York's Lewisohn Stadium.
