  • maybe he doesn't care, its a nice melody

  • I appreciate that you are at least an AvB fan. I still don't understand what you meant though? I get that the original U2 song was about, well, not celebrating new years days per se, but why does the meaning change (or rather its significance) when you cross it over? I think we can both agree that it's a chilling song whether played by Armin, Ferry or U2 themselves. One thing I can say, though, is that I suppose if this has happened on more than two NYEs, that's getting kind of predictable.

  • He knows the song but doesn't know what it is about... if he plays it on new years day. Well you seem to not know either... Go to wikipedia and search for "new years day song". Anyway... I still love Armin Van Buuren :)

  • He knows EXACTLY what song this is, why would you assume otherwise? He's a DJ (oh wait, the #1 in the WORLD). Not only is it a trance remix (I think the Ferry Corsten one), but he played this in Montreal on New Years 06/07 and acknowledged it in the next ASOT.

There is also one by Oakenfold I believe.

  • It's a shame that Armin doesn't know about what is this song :/

  • New Year's Day u2

  • what song is that? i need to know
