  • Mhm, had mine for 4yrs, never had this issue. Mine works perfectly.

  • That's just the panel...

  • I bought the LC52D62U series and it works like a charm, I only use it for gaming and it is pretty crazy, I bought it for $1100 and it was more than worth it, no bandings yet...LoL

  • I am thinking about a 52D65U, does Sharp fixed the banding problem?

  • What input source type are you using? If comp video this can be explained by poor cables and/or source impedances. If via a digital connection (like HDMI/DVI) then it is more likely in the set, but can also be in the source - which is why some may have problems with banding and others don't.

  • I have a horizontal artifact visible on an LC52SE94U about half way up the screen.

  • from everything I've seen and heard (my cousin bought a 52") the banding can just be temporary and completely disappear after only a few months... has it with your tv or did you get it replaced?

  • theres nothing like a sony picture.

  • I returned 2 Aquos 42D64U TVs. Both had banding. Have a Bravia 40W3000 which is much better and more natural color.

  • Parents got the 52" 82u, no banding at all. Its one of the best LCD's i've seen really, amazing black level. the only problem is some bright blues are over saturated but isnt really a big deal. only notice it when i watched the Memphis Tigers football team play in the bowl game
