Jay-gon Jinn's Brass Saber #8

This is a short walk around of the eighth Brass Saber I've built. This one is built with parts from the Custom Saber Shop and a piece of polished brass drain pipe from a hardware store. I uses a red Luxeon III led that is run directly off an MR Anakin Skywalker ROTS soundboard. It is powered by 4-AAA batteries and also features an optional recharge port. It can use standard AAA Alkalines or NiMH rechargeable AAA's. A plug adaptor and smart charger from the Custom Saber Shop is all that required to recharge the batteries in the hilt.

where do you find the brass sleeve?

I got the sleeve for this one at an online plumbing store. They don't fit the MHS parts from TCSS unless you have the parts machined first. TCSS can do that for you if you need them to.

$275-$450, depending on what soundboard you'd want.  the one in this video sold for $435.00 on ebay.

dunno why no1 commented on this. i saw it n css and i thoguht it was one the better sabres, I liked how you made the pommel look like it has been burnt!

Thanks, this one turned out pretty nice. Th burn is on the emitter, actually....it happened by accident, but looked so good, I decided to leave it, and "damage" the rest of it as it was being built.
