PMV -- Hero (Superchick)

I suddenly got the idea for this yesterday and was just absolutely inspired to spend a great deal of my time on this. I was just sitting in the sun thinking about mundane stuff when I was just like "HOLY CRAP MUST MAKE AMV TO SONG I HEARD FOUR YEARS AGO!!!1!"

So now I guess I should explain where these ponies connect to the stanzas:

This vid has a lot to do with Rainbow Dash--she's the rainbow connecting all the different parts together throughout the video.

The video starts out with Fluttershy getting bullied and Rainbow Dash standing up for her. If Rainbow Dash didn't defend Fluttershy from the bullies, who knows what she may have ended up doing in a real-world situation--she could have committed suicide, or even brought a gun to school and killed the ponies bullying her, something that happens all too often in our sadly human world. But Rainbow defended her, and later on the two became good friends and Fluttershy cheered on Rainbow Dash during her competition (which in the video sparks Rainbow Dash to remember how they first met, looking up at her).

Later on Dash is talking and playing around with Gilda, having a great time! Neither the pegasus nor the griffon notice the pink pastel pony just a few meters away, watching them and wanting to join in. Pinkie Pie in this video is ignored by all the other ponies. She's excluded from them, sometimes looked upon with a glare or even walked past as if she doesn't exist. Her only comfort is in the knife she uses (implied by the song) to slit her wrists, and she often contemplates suicide because she thinks that she's worthless because no one listens to her.
Her depression goes so deep that she almost overdoses on pills (represented by the balloons, filled with images of the ponies who ignore her, laughing at her) but decides not to, and instead goes on to try and help the ponies ignoring her. She can't get them to listen to her when something is wrong (parasprites), but decides to save their sorry flanks anyway.
Upon saving their lives the rest of the mane cast realizes that Pinkie is a great person and finally lets her into their group.

Pinkie Pie quickly becomes best friends with Rainbow Dash, a daredevil who lives life to the extreme! But what Rainbow Dash doesn't realize is there's a little pony that idolizes her--Scootaloo. Scootaloo endangers herself trying to do the same wild tricks Rainbow Dash does. This isn't Rainbow Dash's problem of course--she can do whatever she wants with her life. But she is setting a bad example for little ponies like Scootaloo by doing dangerous stunts.
Eventually she realizes that Scootaloo is idolizing her and Dash decides to be a better role model for Scootaloo. She won't stop doing her stunts of course, but she'll teach Scootaloo safety. Couldn't show that in the vid of course, cuz I had to move on to the next verse!

DISCORD! I love him. In this video he is picked on by Celestia and Luna, and eventually he commits suicide, leaving the bullies Celestia and Luna to realize the horror they committed driving him to such an end.

Stop bullying, stand up for others, and be friendly toward everyone. If you think you're alone and have no one to turn to--then talk to me! I'll be your friend for life. And even if I haven't met you I care about you and would be upset if I found out you checked out of life early (I've cried for hours hearing about kids who killed themselves for feeling alone, because I've been on that precipice too and nearly did the same). You can be a hero; stand up for others, it could change their lives. You can be a hero; save your own life by not taking it. You can be a hero; set an example for the people around you.

We can all make a difference just by being here for each other.

@CottontailOfChrist Ah, well, it had gotten to 152 likes before anyone disliked it. The two who hated on it were probably non-brony bullies, so I don't mind. There are always a few bad apples in the bunch. I just wanted to use the magic of friendship to spread an important message of tolerance to the internet.
