@redguy1993 mmk noone is "waaayyyy" better than Joey since he can pretty much play whatever the fuck he wants skillwise. and if you gave joey some lame ass generic sounding jazz/funk to just freestyle over, it would be just as impressive as arthurs shit. Point is, Joeys body of works consists of actual songs with lyrics and whatnot, if he was filling and rolling all the fucking time like this kid, the songs would sound like jumbled shit.

Why does everyone always compare drummers to Joey Jordinson? Especially when this kid doesn't play the same type of music that Joey plays (not taking anything away from Arthur here, he's amazing). Joey J. is a really good drummer, but IMO his 'solos' are lacking. He has really good grooves too, but this cat is AWESOME!!!
