Halloween 2009 with Amanda and Pav =)

my makeup was based on a tutorial by makeupbyrisa:

pav's 'swine flu' mask was from www.screamteam.com. the mask is called 'borais'. makeup was done by me! =)

the german sheppard-mix is my dog Maya -costume from dollarama (woot woot $1! haha)

the basset hound is her "boyfriend" Dudley! (same costume, they just took turns wearing it =P)

Wow, I'm thrilled to have found someone wearing the Boaris mask! I'm gonna be buying that one in a week or two, so hopefully you could answer a couple questions? :) Looks like you blended the edges perfectly. I can't see the seam at all. How hard was it to blend? Are the edges pretty thin?

Hi there! The edges are pretty thin BUT if you don't do a few key steps with the makeup you will see the edges. the MOST important technique you can do to blend the mask into your skin is to use the stippling sponge. it's a prickly sponge that will make little dots all over your face. putting dots in various different colours all over your face AND the mask creates a bit of an optical illusion and things look seamless. msg me if you have questions =) glad to help!
