  • @CarmelitaLeFink I couldn't agree more with you. I don't know what the heck is going on with people these days, they seem to only take one side and then hate the other...everything must be a war...why? Disney has the best animation pieces ever made and achieved artistic triumph like no one will ever do, while studio ghibli may have possibly some of the best scripts wrote to animated films, as a whole, their films are superb and excelent, but disney will always be the finest.

  • wow amazing english cast!!

  • I had no idea Susan Egan worked in the english dub of a ghibli film, she's amazing

  • @silvermoonredmoon :D Ha, is that a joke? Do you have any idea of what you're saying?

  • "Ok, it takes place in Italy, it was originally in Japanese now it's in English but she sings in French." *crosses eyes*

  • @silvermoonredmoon Well duh, but these would never be enjoyed by common America, if Disney didn't make these official dubs.

  • Well, I find English dub weird sometimes, but Disney pulls a pretty good job comprared to most (anime is not easy to dub). Anyway,

All Disney fans would notice that Meg and Clogsworth are in this show !!

  • One of the things I can tell about miyazaki is that he was really influenced by Joe Campbell. In a way all stories are sort of influenced by him and his Hero's Journey theory. I learned a lot about it from Finding Joe, a good documentary that I would really recommend to people interested in that sort of thing.

  • Susan Egan looks a bit like Gina !

  • @silvermoonredmoon So true! My daughter loves them more too. She likes to pretend to be ponyo
