VIR July 3rd 2010 NESBA

This is my first youtube upload. It is shaky so I hope no one gets sea sick. Hammie the squirrel is the camera man. I am on the red white and blue Honda wearing a Pilot suit of the same colors. Style matters. :) You'll see me walking about at the beginning and I and an Instructor (orange shirt) are the first to take off.

As mentioned in the youtube description the guys in orange are control riders who act as instructors. The are the best riders on the track. The groups are divided into beginner, intermediate and advanced. Control riders are beyond advanced. My bike is not a track bike. It is a stock sport tourer meaning a heavier bike with a more upright ride. Most all of the bikes you see are lightly to heavily modified dedicated track-sport bikes = $$$$.

The rider that pulls up on the yellow bike at the beginning and talks to me is remarking about us both riding Honda VFR's. The guy you see nearly wreck later on is not me. My motorcycle was confused with that one a few times.

I am doing upwards of 125 mph on the straight and 50+ in the turns. I rode a true sport bike later that day and was able to achieve 138 mph on the straight. Hmm let's see if I give up my next few birthday and Christmas gifts then . . .

Haha. Even with everyone pitching in, I think it would still take more than a few birthdays/Christmases for us to get you that kind of bike. Love ya, Pineapple-head.
