Selena: **sitting on her bed icing her ankle**

Demi: hey.

Selena: hey dems.

Demi: got time to talk?

Selena: yea...i guess.

Demi: so what's up?

Selena: **confused** nothing...

Demi: i know something's bothering you...

Selena: **looks down**

Demi: is this about taylor?

Selena: taylor's a great guy. he's cute, smart, funny, nice...

Demi: but he's not nick.

Selena: **suddenly looks up** what are you talking about?

Demi: **looks at selena**

Selena: **gets up and throws away the ice**

Demi: looks like your ankle's feeling better.

Selena: **smiles a little** yea.

Demi: thank goodness nick reminded you to ice it, right?

Selena: dems...

Demi: what? i'm just saying. you can't hide from your feelings.

Selena: **falls onto her bed and sighs**

Demi: think about it. **leaves**

**the next day at the mall**

Selena: ok, where first?

Vanessa: first, we get the dresses.

Demi: well what are we waiting for? less talking and more walking!

Selena: **laughs** you're such a dork.

Demi: **smiles and links her arm with selena**

**at the store**

Vanessa: **grabs a pink dress and holds it in front of ashley** this is so you. go try it on.

Ashley: **happy and quickly walks to the fitting rooms**

Selena: this is hopeless. there's no dress here for me.

Demi: don't lose hope yet. **pulls a dress out and puts it in front of selena**

Selena: **shocked** i spoke too soon...

Demi: **laughs and hands selena the dress**

Vanessa: that blue looks awesome on you.

Selena: really?

Vanessa: **smiles** positive.

Selena: **happy and starts jumping up and down**

Demi: careful! you don't want to hurt your ankle or you won't get to dance tonight.

Selena: **stops jumping** right...

Demi: oh...my...gosh...

Vanessa: what?

Demi: **pulls a dress out of the racks** i love this dress!

Selena: cute. and it's black too, your favorite color.

Demi: **smiles** i know!

Selena: nessa, here's one for you. **takes a white dress**

Vanessa: awww...i love the design.

Ashley: **walks back** i am so getting this dress.

Selena: **smiles** it's all set then. we got all our dresses.

Demi: don't you think we should try them on first?

Selena: right...

**after they finish buying their dresses**

Vanessa: now all that's left are the masks

Ashley: and i know just where to get them. **drags them into a store**

Vanessa: alright guys. split up. **they all go different directions**

**after 10 minutes, they all meet up where the first started**

Selena: anything?

Ashley: **holds out a black mask with feathers** i got this...it's cute and all but it doesn't match my dress.

Demi: it matches mine though. **grabs the mask**

Ashley: oh great...all that searching for nothing.

Demi: **laughs and hugs ashley** thanks ash.

Selena: you got anything nessa?

Vanessa: you welcome.

Selena: huh?

Vanessa: just watch. **takes out a blue mask embedded with diamonds**

Selena: oh my gosh! thanks nessa! **takes the mask and looks at it** these aren't real...right?

Vanessa: what do you think!?

Demi: **laughs**
