Bach was mainly known in his lifetime as a virtuoso organist and people were amazed with his art of registration and pedal virtuosity. Here, organist Diane Bish performs his most famous composition and probably the most well known piece music in the world, his Toccata and Fugue in d minor. Miss Bish plays this piece on the five-manual, 96-rank Julia Thompson Smith Organ of First Presbyterian Church in Naples, Florida.
They are out of sync because of the accustics of the church. I have always hated to play in churches that have a two second delay time. She is great!! My favorite..

There are only a handful of organists in the world who display this level of mastery. Gives me chills...

Not too many churches has an organ as there is a major shortage of organist in America. Many of the churches that I had visited has replaced their organs with acoustic grand pianos and becoming the standard music instrument in church music. I believe that that classical organ is becoming a thing of the past. The only organ that is still being played is the Hammond organ, used in gospel, blues and jazz. Only the big churches could afford real pipe organ or Allen organ.

Her playing is fantastic, would have appreciated it a little more if the Mic sampling had come from a single source thought!

Great playing as always! It seems like they threw in random clips of her playing throughout the video. Like at 0:41 or 1:28. Otherwise her playing was wonderful.
