This plant only blooms one flower, once a year, late at night and then in the morning the flower dies off. It's an ugly plant but a beautiful flower hides with-in.

  • @andreasisi We have a studio full of these...and ours bloom every 3 or 4 months, too...I trim off the "runners" and cut them up to root and start new plants and give them to friends and family . Yes, and the smell IS awesome..we call our "Audrey" after the "Little Shop" plant ! ;^)

  • my grandma had one of these plants in the front of her home in the Dominican Republic and called it the Pipe Flower. Since the stem that it blooms from looks like a tabacco pipe. I could never find what it was actually called. Have been researching for years! It smells so great. She used to snip it off at night and put it in the fridge to try to preserve it. It would last about a week in the fridge.

  • Datura Meteloides. Amazing flower. Smells fantastic!
