This is a test of my first attempt to write a Force Field Obstacle Avoidance Algorithm. Make sure you watch the the on board camera angle.

  • The robot is driving itself. The ir sensor up front scans for objects ahead. All objects it sees exert a 'force' that cause it to turn away.

  • @madsci1016 @madsci1016 The IR sensor mounted on the servo? Is the chassie and motor from the I robot roomba?

  • @cristoretornebiblia The sensor on top is a Sharp IR. The chassis is am Irobot Create, which is a Roomba without the vacuum. Does that answer your question?

    Its good. Tell me what did the Servo connect to, did it use a Microcontroller device?

  • @cristoretornebiblia If you mean where i assembled it, I live in the USA. I don't know where Irobot makes the Create. There is a Microcontroller, It's an AVR based board called the Axon.
