I want to thank mr. bergin and the other pacific marines for telling their stories≥ so so many veterans found it too hard to talk about and their experiences died with them. my children will never have the chance to hear those stories first hand, and i don't want the war to become an academic study of generals and statistics like so many wars become for students.
