  • @Cypres1 agreed

  • so did they hjust hunt around to find other women as annoying and ignorant as this lady?

  • i hate this woman

  • i don't get benoit why did he do this

  • You missed the point.

My whole point is that the GENERAL PUBLIC, not the wrestling fan base just dismiss wrestling as childish entertainment in which all the pain is fake too, and how the wrestling promoters prefer to keep it this way.

If everyone knew about the real pain and suffering that is involved in pro wrestling, there would be a number of activist groups against pro wrestling.

  • Wrestling is not intierly fake. Hell I find

it hard to fake something like this. People

like Goldberg or Rhino spearing an

apponent and they don't get up that

    easy.

  • If Vince McMahon or any promoter had it his way, wrestling would strictly be sub-culture and completely be out of the Press eye. Because it is a culture of secrecy and exploitation.

There is a reason why WWE movies are horrible. Because they ONLY appeal to the wrestling community, not appeal to the general public. That is also why there is a lot of sexiest concepts, and a low regard to consequences of violence.

  • Its also the promoter's interest to keep the public unaware of this. If everyone just looked at pro wrestling as nothing more than a show, and nothing to be taken seriously, there would be no need for steroid tests or speculations, or even any regulation for that matter. So when someone would say wrestlers are exploited or they feel physical pain, the average person would laugh it off and say its an act. The average promoter prefers this, to keep the public OUT of the sub-culture.

  • Yeah but in UFC even the general public knows they get hurt.

The general public's view on wrestling is that none of them get hurt. One of my friends actually said that the match in the movie Nacho Libre is just the same thing in every pro wrestling match and said that everyone who likes wrestling would like the movie.

This is just an example of how obvious the public is to the real pain and exploitation these wrestlers go through.

  • That's ridiculous. That's like trying to say

the same thing about the fighters from

    the UFC.
