Minecraft Building: Permanent Night

A 55x55 Blocks sized Platform in the sky to generate a huge area of darkness.

The water, which is falling down get caught by a little outlet thingy.
Except the mine, the tower and the signs I changed nothing to give the feeling of a sudden darkness after entering the "building".
