A classroom comes out of a Coastal Redwood (The Fremont Tree) in Henry Cowell Park in Felton, CA. Fremont, an officer, is said to have camped in this tree while in this area back in the early 1800s. The teachers all take their classes into the tree to let the kids get a feeling for this experience.

i went to scienc camp and i went in dere.... my naturalist said it can fit in about 76 ppl in dat tree... it wasnt dat big...... and dat tree used 2 be a houses or somting there.... der was a window but covered.... a fire place... covered.and a door......i came home frim scienc camp 2 yester day!!!!!!!! it WAS SOOOOO FUN!!!

cute, funny, if I didn't have faith in the tone of your voice I'd assume it was trick photography. Makes me wish I were there.. thank you for a neat neat treat of the wonder of the world. That's what's great about the web... well one thing.
