Finally, it's done. This method shows how you can use chained shinies to get your Secret ID.

For those doing this or for those asking me to find it(which is no trouble, by the way), this is what you need for each: chained shiny:

-The pokemon's exact IVs
- Its Nature
- Its gender
- Its Ability (0 or 1 or Single Ability)
- Its gender ratio(use Bulbapedia or other websites)

  • I'm guessing that it doesn't matter if the shinies come from a different chain?

  • @Uda811 You are correct on that assumption. They just need to be chained shinies.

  • Does this work with multiples only? Like say I had 4 shiny shinx...Can I find my SID using this method?

  • @hiten13 Multiples don't really matter. You might be able to find your SID with only 4, but you'll probably need a few more. The number required is different for everyone, and doesn't involve multiples of any number.

    Except 1, I guess.

  • hear I need help. I have only 3 pokemon shiny in pokemon pearl version, but before restarting the game I capture a shiny Pokemon and transferred to my black version, even I can use to find my SID? thanks

  • @TheJacoboPeralta Well, you would be able to find it, but you reset the game. Using that shiny will give you information about a file that no longer exists. Sorry.

  • Yeah ! i finally found it ! Thank you alot man, forgot to say before nice video and very good explanation, Again, thousand thanks

  • @24zinc24 Sometimes you need a few more shinies. I can't guarantee what number you need to make it fall to 1, but if it falls to 0 possibilities, you may want to check all the stats and try again.

  • I do all the progress correctly. i had my possiblities down to 2. But i add more pokemons and it doesnt fell to 1. What's happening. i have 5 shinies made by a chain and i cant take it to 1 possiblity

  • @Berquet50 You could just level them up a LOT and keep track of IVs, but that's troublesome. I don't know what you should do, but the best choice would probably to bring it up to a high level and use EV reducing berries once there to clear EVs.
