The company that made Okami has indeed shut down, but I read that a few key members of the previous development team have formed their own company and may be planning on a sequel. ^^
I haven't heard anything about it being a Wii exclusive, though.

Well, glad they gave it a second chance. Shame its just for wii, still be a great game no matter what its played on though. :)

um actually they maybe key word MAYBE! are going to they're giving it a second chance on wii read it in a game magazine but if any seqeal it will probably be for wii sorry for those who do not have one :(

I was really hoping that they would make a sequal but the game was brought out as one of the last for PS2. And the company that made it has apparantly closed down. Shame. :(

I played and beat Okami in a week and a half, I wansn't trying to plow through it...but it was the best video game experiance of my life.
