  • The last sequence is really hard to watch.

As for the music : Who is the singer? He's awesome. The best version of this aria I've heard so far

  • Brian Bannatyne-Scott

  • Little on the fast side … but stunning all the same .. combined with the video excerpts .. I wonder what Handel would have thought of this?

  • @legato699 I really couldn't believe what I was seeing, almost made me sick.

  • Its not that they are raging against EACH OTHER, they are RAGING TOGETHER AGAINST GOD...thaaaat's the point...

The Psalm Handel is quoting is Psalm 2:

    1Why do the nations rage

and the peoples plot in vain?

2 The kings of the earth set themselves,

and the rulers take counsel together,

against the LORD and against his Anointed, saying,

3 “Let us burst their bonds apart

and cast away their cords from us.”

  • These clips are nations raging against each other and within themselves.

  • Indeed, why do the nations fight so furiously rage together?

What's the source for the clip at the end, where a man gets stabbed repeatedly as he's bleeding on the street?

  • @shroudedinmystery Exactly! This is the most precisely sung rendition of "Why do the nations" that I've ever heard. And yet it doesn't sound sterile for it.

  • Certified Intergalactic!

  • This guy does those long runs of notes absolutely fantastically!

No ambiguity of notes - excellent.

  • HEY!

This from the movie version of director William Klein. He did a take on The Messiah from wich this excerpt is. It´s 5*****!

  • The baritone is Brian Bannatyne-ScottXD

    I love this film!!
