  • Very, very coool!!! I love your stereo and all the harmony of Mike, Chris and Tony!! Thank you for posting it!

  • @ChrisCurtisFan Pleased to help out a ChrisCurtis fan with this one. One of their best.

  • Let's take it a step further. After the Drifters the English band 'The Rokes' who had settled in Italy did a song with the same chorus part, they also recorded this in English, called "Passing Thru Grey", then there were the Grass Roots with 'Live for today'. Also check out 'The Riot Squad' doing 'Walking on Ice' A great song with yet again, that same rift.

  • Thanks for the interesting info, youknow your stuff. There are a few others with great similarity to that distinctive "Na Na Na" part.

  • I didn't know The Searchers did this cover. I enjoyed it, thanks for posting it! I personally like The Drifters the best on this one... they give it a little more 'umph'. =)

  • No one will ever be able to beat the Drifters on this one!

  • Another great cover by The Greatest Cover Band of the 60's, The Searchers were just too damned good. Chris Curtis was one hell of a drummer, and the guitar work was mighty nigh to dead solid perfect, Tony Jackson played the bass almost as good as he sang! Damofino I Loved these guys, again, they were the 2nd best band from Liverpool, so thanks You Tube for the space, SirBasildeBrush for the upload, and to The Searchers: Thanks for the memories, you guys were just too too! Rock On Shindiggers!!!

  • Great remake of the 1960 Drifters classic!

  • @frizzlefrap He left the band when they realized that they had three great lead singers to include Chris Curtis and Mike Pender. It's all very sad that Tony didn't want to share that lead vocalist role, because John, Chris, Mike and Tony, the originals, were the best lineup of all. They each brought something wonderful to the table and it was magic.

  • i'm curious .... where did tony jackson go? .... he was much more talented than the guy that replaced him.

  • Another sweet cover of a Drifters' tune from the best British cover band of the 60's, even more so than their more commercially successful Liverpool rivals! THE SEARCHERS ROCKED! Long live the Mersey Beat!

  • i like too ^^

  • blah blah blah why does every song have be dissected, bissected, torn apart, lokked at for hidden meanings, who does the best version, who stole what from whom. just enjoy the music forget every thing else. get lost in the moment enjoy the music

  • very very good it" as good as the drifters version..

  • @naoyuki54 My pleasure.
