Calling "Stormy" out of the storm drain

As of 8-9-09 Stormy still needs a home. This is "Stormy". He is a cat that started living in my storm drain on 6-9-09. I fed him and spent several hours a day getting to know his charming personality, but when it started to rain daily in Florida, I had to find him permanent shelter. A veterinary hospital in Sarasota agreed to give him a temporary room while I search for a "Forever Home" for Stormy. While there it was discovered that he is FIV+. This is a virus that effects his immune system and is transferable only to other cats through deep bite wounds. Stormy actually prefers the company of humans to cats anyway, so being an only cat is not only advisable, but preferable to Stormy. FIV+ cats can live long, healthy lives with responsible veterinary checkups.

Stormy is the kind of cat that would be your best friend. He will literally follow you around like a puppy and is a great conversationalist. I am willing to drive Stormy anywhere in the country for a loving home.
