@huntforlife90 the video was actually filmed in cairo, illinois, first free city in the north during the civil war, U.S. Grants headquarters were here, I grew up right across the river in Kentucky, and it is sad to see Cairo in the state it has become.

Whenever I say I'm from New York everybody thinks of N.Y. city. I'm from western N.Y. and grew up in the middle of farm country. Apple orchards,corn fields, and cows. I've never seen N.Y. city. The "laws" Josh sings about are here too.

@TheManHere1 yes and people say he has a fake accent, I'm a rebel proud Texan who bleeds confederacy and I'm damn proud I have family who served the C.S.A. but I been to Iowa, Wisconsin, Ohio and Nebraska and they have people there just as counrty and redneck as the South and Josh Thompson doesn't speek with a fake accent if he did he would be big time like some of these pretend country outlaws like Jason Aldean, Josh Thompson has a country accent not a Southern accent.

You don't have to be from the South and you don't even have to be an American to be country. The country is everything that isn't urban, and guess what! That's everywhere in between! Proud to be Canadian :)
