@LEXXXRUGER84 and top 10 fighter can have 100 fights comprised in large part by cab drivers in Mexico. Duran fought and won against the better comp, it's not even a debate. Most old school fighters had hundreds of fights.

Elie your the man talking about Chavez gives me chills this guy was the full package power,footwork,speed,strength & conditioning,iron chin,great defence he was just unstopable and those are just some of the reasons hes a legend hes not just any fighter with over 100 pro fights this guy fought and beat the best in the world and had to move up in weight to get some competition

I'd say Roberto Duran is better, he fought all the way in his 50s and still had it, won titles in 4 different divisions, beat a prime Iran Barkley for the Middleweight title despite the height, reach and age advantage being with Barkley (the guy that TKOd Tommy Hearns in 3). This is the man who beat Sugar Ray Leonard, who was 5 years his junior and gave hell to Marvin Hagler.
Chavez is legendary too, but I wouldn't rate him better than Duran, Duran's just phenomenal.

People that know boxing(fighters and champs) not fans or experts(news reporters) know JC Chavez was complete fighter, if the guy wanted to box he adapted never did a "No Mas" shit in hes prime. He was champ in 84 at 130 Lb, people talk about him in the 93 and up, especially haters talk when he was fighting the best 147Lb fighter a guy that mission was to make Chavez look bad, but did he won? that's how great Chavez was!
