I know female cops who are the worst because they are not as strong as men. so they become full of themselves and use the zapper on men who even ask a question because they are so full of themselves.

What I said below stands.

Of course the show is a comedy, and Barney is a decent lovable nice guy...but his "cop" skills and attitudes are a satire on small men with big egos pulling power trips.

If you really don't know or have never met cops (or others in authority) who are officious and ull of them selves, then you don't know many people. lol

To those that object to this bit of truth, is that an indication that the "shoe" may fit you!

Lord people barney made the show a natural in comedy He is so hilarious and so good at it.I loved watching this show back then and I'm in my 30's i still crack up watching it.
