3 engines hauling a heavy load at the Great Yorkshire traction Engines Clubs Rally including a couple of Marshalls and Burrell Road Locomotive "The President"
I suppose the rust is fine, as long as the boiler inspector isn't bitching about it.
Must say, that in certain cases, a little age marking is attractive. A bit like Sean Connery...looks better now than ever.Is also a little smarter now as well.
@wqpeb but u know what, these machines are all beautiful. it doesnt matter where their from. they are all beautiful. And rust makes them look old, which may i remind you they are over 90 years old. i like them painted, i also like them rusty. they are still a steam engine that has done its job.
@mccrackenphillip its what they used 100 years ago. they never stop pulling unless they blow up, flip backwards of the wheels do a burnout. its a nice piece of history to have here. they will NEVER be forgotten. they were the start of tractors.
I prefer the British engines over the American ones here. Far more refined.
These clunky things are OK but never impress like the engines there.
I see so many engines over here covered with rust and still used often. Hope like hell they are clean inside. Not fond of being blown up by a boiler bust.
The Locomotion, an appropriate musical selection for these "road locomotives", as traction engines are also known as. This one made me smile, thanks for posting.
@Strula7820
It's done for fun and entertainment. That's why they're letting the lead loco do most of the work in this clip.

the president is priming coming up incline other than that she would pull twice that load!
