If you are a Christian where is your heart on this issue of God handing out wealth to those who sow a seed? If you are not a Christian, then this video is not intended for you to answer.

  • His focus for our blessings is for the eternity, so

  • Great vid!

You can't buy God. He does what he feels is right, for his thoughts and ways are higher than ours. He blesses us, but his blessings are often different than what people expect. Everyone should ask God for his guidance in their life

  • You're looking at a three to four thousand year span of men who were directed under God to write those things down.

What was God's purpose? Let me give you an example of no fornication..meaning no sex before marriage....Now God gave this law, not to ruin peoples fun, but knew that having sex with anyone or even just a few will bring deadly diseases. the law of not fornicating was to protect the people, not take their fun away. God's laws were and are to protect people, not take anything away.

  • Ok, you've interested me and justified your beliefs. This is a first for me, people who believe in god usually just do so because everyone else does. I still think there's an explanation that is more rational, I will research these claims of prophecies being fulfilled. One thing though, do you think it's possible that some "wise men" deliberately wrote the bible to control society? I think it's quite possible..

Sorry to be so long winded here.

Anyway, now there are more prophecies of His second coming then His first, and so far, the majority of these prophecies have been directly fulfilled. These are direct prophecies and not just signs, but direct prophecies. Example: The birth of Israel becoming a nation again was fulfilled, but not only that, the Bible says that it will become a nation in one day....This was fulfilled in 1948...

You have to check this out so you will know for sure.

The Bible is written with 66 different books, writtine throughout a three to four thousand year span. Each book of the Old Testament was written hundreds of years apart, but yet gave more then three hundred prophecies of the coming messiah.

Direct prophecies, even down to the time when the messiah should be born, and even when he would die.

Jesus Christ fulfilled all three hundred plus prophecies. What are the mathimatical odds of even eight of them being fulfilled?

    cont.

  • Yes, this is a big problem. Lets say for arguement sake that there is a true God....If there is a true God out there, then it goes to show that the enemy of God would put confussion into man on who God really is.

Now, a person is stuck with finding out who this one true God is. One has to do some homework here, of which I did.

One has to examine the claims of all religions of the world, and then try to find which one is telling the truth.

  • Even though there are many people who believe in a god, very few agree about what it is. I think most people believe in god because they were told to and they can't picture a reality that isn't based on what they were led to believe in their most vulnerable years. Remember that in this world there are people who believe all sorts of strange, ridiculous things, I think the idea of god is one of those things. If you believe the bible your standards of evidence are low, in my opinion.

  • No, I do not base my beliefs on fear but on the fact that God is who He said He is and the love He has shown to all men.

You ask why doesn't he show Himself. The fact is He has. Why don't you ask yourself, why don't you see Him? Why do so many people see Him and not you or others?

Could it be that you don't like the idea of a God who wants the best for you and you want to do your own thing without a God telling you to do differently?

    He has shown Himself.

  • "if you know your home is going to be destroyed, fair or not, wouldn't you take the rescue if you could? " - so are you saying you base your beliefs on the fear that you may be wrong? I think if there is a god he doesn't hate atheists and may even prefer them since the evidence is so flimsy for all religious beliefs. Why is this omnipotent creator unable to show himself? Why would he hide behind ancient books?
