I also think there's a great difficulty by the fact that the Labservatives are so similar, and people think they are the only two options. I was 12 when Labour came into office, and so I don't really remember when they actually presented different options and ideologies. Which is why, again, I think the solution is to make as much noise as possible. People may well agree with Lib Dem policies, but think there's no point voting for them. The more noise, the more people may think it'll work

@VisitingWizard The apathy in young people in the country is very frightening. I do think, though, that being a student makes it even worse - you live in this sort of not-quite-real world... I don't know. I just know that when I was a student (during the last general election) I shamefully paid it very little attention, and didn't vote. Now, however, it all seems much more part of the real world. And yes, I'm voting Lib Dem, of course.
Just try to make a lot of noise about it, I guess...
