Such a massive shame you're not going to be able to reach your target. I've pulled out of the competition and got myself a refund. Going by the number of competition entries shown on your website, looks like everyone else is having second thoughts. Perhaps you should now turn your attention to selling your house on the open market - for what it is actually worth - not for what you reckon it's worth. Good luck!

This house looks amazing, its underground and still so bright and airy! Even if they don;t make their sales, its still a great gamble and you could still win a lot of money. I think its a wicked present idea.... At elast i know what to get the rents for xmas!

well that's good to know, I hope who ever wins actually gets it. Just out of interest who is regulating the draw to ensure the 10% goes to charity and the house does go to the owner, I take it you have a gaming license for this, so it is all above board?

Actually, the Devon Prize Draw has ended with all 46,000 tickets being sold. So someone is going to win the house. Even the BBC took an interest in this, so NOT a scam.

Looks like a lovely house but a bit bothered about the 35% of entry fees they get if the prize isn't won - seems like a bit of a scam.
Also, doesn't this go against the spirit of Grand Designs, in that people create their dream house to live in? This was only aired this year - seems like they were only concerned about making money all along.
Still, if they can get more than the house is worth in the current climate good luck to them!

Trust me we are the most reluctant of movers, however we will do it as we do not get anything out of it if we don't hand over our home. The "UPTO 35%" refers only to third party costs in running the project. The lawyers put this in to cover on the off chance people did not enter the competition. Thank the lord it was on Grand Designs at least people know the house is real. !
