the man hit it right on the head, Course i didnt like the part about calling the Eagle a dandified vulture. Milius is one of the best screenwriters of the age

Very insightful and very true. Milius' script aptly described the American experience in this scene, the more remarkable since this film came out at the end of the Vietnam war.
