  • Occasionally it looks like there are two alpha lines that twine around each other, like .04 and 1.21. Any idea what's happening there?

Also sometimes it looks like there's a bright line and a faint one that come together, like at 2.42. Are you getting reflections from the bottom?

  • Do the patterns of the clouds say anything about the particles? Like, the alpha particle paths each start out as a solid tube that gradually gets wider as the particle continues (because it slows down?) and later each one spreads into a series of puffs where the puffs look like they're kind of evenly spaced. Is that entirely because of the way the clouds in the cloud chamber work? Or could it come from something the particle did?

3D video stuff is getting cheaper. Someday you could do 3D!

  • amazing how alpha particles and beta particles can be found sadly this is probably not gama rays being seen
