I recall hearing this song somewhere in the early 80's when I was a kid, maybe on the Real People show or something like that, ring a bell for anyone out there?

@kja427 i'll tell u why "they" don't make novelty hits like Junk Food Junkie or Mr. Jaws or Dead Puppies is because creativity is dead in Hollywood. Think about it, all the old movies and tv shows are being re-made. too bad because it (creativity) can be a lot of fun!

I remember when this song was popular. When it came on during the trip home from school my mom wouldn't turn the radio off until it was over. We spent a lot of time in our parking lot listening to this one.

There was a really good AMV for this song on YouTube once; it was all live-action, and it was hilarious! Too bad I can't find it anymore... :(
