Newly Updated for 2010 in 3-Layer GORE-TEX PRO Shell Ascendor II fabric, the Mountain Equipment Kongur Jacket has been designed for all day use in the worst conditions the mountains can throw at you. The detail is fantastic but special mention goes to the hood, which is fully helmet compatible. The HC hood is made with Stealth technology which gives 4 way movement so your vision is never blocked when turning at awkward angles. The New Stratus Storage System has added 25% extra storage to the Kongur Jacket so that you have more room to stash goggles, maps and any other items you may need to get at quickly.
Trail Say October 2009........We have loved this jacket for many years, and now Mountain Equipment has added a Mountain Rescue Team version (the Kongur MRT), with extra reflective material and reinforced fabric. The Kongur has not changed much, as it is hard to improve such a great jacket. It's made from Gore-Tex Pro Shell, top-notch for waterproofness and condensation control. There is a little more length in the body than some other jackets. A double stormflap protects the front zip from rain. Movement in the sleeves is ideal for mountaineering, while the four chest pockets allow hand warming and storage when wearing a harness or rucksack belt. There are pit zips to prevent overheating. The wire-peaked hood fits over a helmet and moves with the head. It's one of the best jackets around.

@Flarzy85 Glad you like it, I have the MRT version and it is totally awesome! They have redone the pockets this year to make them even bigger so you can safely get an A4 sized map in your pocket now.
