The Return of Sherlock Holmes: The Devil's Foot.

Sherlock Holmes (Jeremy Brett) and Dr. Watson (Edward Hardwicke) are investigating the affects of The Devil's Foot powder. Interestingly, this is the only time I have ever heard Holmes refer to Dr. Watson as John.

  • @GordyLake Hahaha! Oh boy...

  • Umm. Lol, is this real?? XD

  • @GordyLake Well Sherlock Holmes wasn't a real person lol, but this is taken unedited from an episode of what is considered the best TV adaptation of the Sherlock Holmes stories.

  • Ok, i love JB, but seriously, dude, what is up with the hair???? I like it much better longer and NOT SLICKED BACK! Lol

  • @prolifeprincess looks like Sherlock Holmes forgot to take his gel with him on holiday!

  • In the canon, Watson said he felt himself succumbing to the affects of the poison when he noticed Holmes turning white with death, and he found the strength and courage to snap out of it and carry them both out of the room. Watson is definitely the hero in this one!

  • I have the entire series on DVD! Love it! Not a cheap investment but worth every penny

  • Who else thinks it's adorable that Holmes called Watson "John" for once?

  • @MrsCamui I would of XD

  • This episode used to freak me out when I was younger.... just funny now! :p

  • I feel awful xD I was laughing out loud at his spasms (and half of the dream sequence, because lets face it, its old, its going to look cheesy). It isn't till he says John that all the emotions start to sink in and I feel sincerly sorry for him. ):

  • Of course I will stay

  • That's more or less how the 'Bi-polar

feels most of the time anyway..

  • Someone's high.

  • Very touching bit, this. From "I thought I knew my Watson" to his worry at the end there. The fact that he used Watson's first name in his delirious state shows just how vulnerable he was here. Aww. I love these two. Such good friends. And JB as Holmes is so amazing. :)
