oh ok i see

@kelleytoons ya I felt the same way about this one. But I left the videos up, it's kind of nostalgic for my channel, shows a little bit of my past and what I use to have as apposed to what I have now. But for the hands, I wouldn't use your brothers hands to measure it unless you're making it for him. Outline your left and right hand on paper then cut it out about a half inch out from the line you made tracing your hand, it'll fit perfect if you have decent material.

oh ok. so when i make the gloves. i'll have to trace my brothers hand. i'm a girl and i have small hands. lol also i felt the same way when i made my first suit. at first i was like wow. then when i saw the fur suits at cons. i was like damn, my suit is so ugly.
-
@kelleytoons yah, I took pride in the work I did on this at first, then I made the mistake of comparing it to the majority of other suits in the furry fandom and come to find mine looked like crap compared to the professional work that you see in most suits, but I was still happy to have done it. But for the paws, I laid my hand on a piece of paper and traced it, then left a half inch all the way around past the line that was traced and cut it out for my pattern on both hands
oh i thought i gave you the link. well here it is again if i didn't give it to you. it's on my youtube page and it's called kelley's flying dragon.

oh ok thank you for the tip. the reason why else is i make stuffed cartoon dolls. and when i used my hand to trace and use for the doll hand it didn't work when i tried to turn it right side in after i sewed it. the fabric hand was to small. so now when i make my dolls i have to use a paper copy of my dad's traced hand. and it works perfect for my dolls seeing how my dad has bigger hands when mine.

@kelleytoons Actually I wasn't considering that we probably don't sew exactly the same and what worked for me might not work for you. You may just have to do a trial and error kinda thing, maybe buy a sheet of cheep material and make a few demo cuts on it to make sure what you're using for a hand pattern is going to work before taking it out of your main material, which may be limited, depending on how easily you can get the material you want. Don't be afraid to test before making the final.
