you were 50% alongside him, and he knew you were there, so its a turn-in and you shouldnt be given a penalty

I personally would have been annoyed with an ABC... Roughly half way alongside so you were right to stick there lol

Tough one, it could be called either way. I would have been pissed off to get a penalty, the guy knew you were there or there abouts otherwise he wouldn't have defended so hard into 1. I reckon you were far enough alongside for him to have seen you're bumper out of the corner of his eye.....
