@Wreddog427 Until you have Boots on the ground you control nothing. we do not nor ever will have the tech to win a conflict without sending in men on the ground to see whats really there. america dropped more bombs during veitnam than in all of ww2. uselessly blowing up jungle or sand wins nothing. and in 10 years less than 7000 americans were killed in iraq and afganistian thats incredible improvment over the 58,000 killed in veitnam in the same time period

@Wreddog427 You got it. We don't seem to be learning do we.

@AmmoMan0 Desert Storm / Desert Shield was to prevent a tyrannical dictator from spreading his power. And now the Global War On Terrorism is about protecting our way of life again this time the threat is from muslim extremists who seek to destroy the western way of life. What happens to our heroes is tragic, we could never do enough to show our respect and admiration, or to heal their wounds. I.Y.A.A.Y.A.S.

@Wreddog427 The Air Force had the same vision in the 1950's, that ground war was a thing of the past.Truth is the Air Force will never take a foot of ground. You can bomb and strafe all you want but until there is a soldier standing on that ground it is the enemy's ground. Furthermore war is not for making a profit, WWII was about stopping the spread of an evil, Korea, and Vietnam were about stopping the spread of communism which is detrimental to the american way of life.

Load of Bullshit and Obfuscation

America didn't turn it's back on Chang Kai Sheck (sp), the globalist conspirators who operate on behalf of the international banking establishment, aka the beast, abandoned Sheck (led by traitor henry kissinger). The globalists wanted to poison American's desire to ever go in the defense of a nation attacked by communists. Sadly, the globalists got their wish on all counts.

@TrishaDishaWarEagle ..,your revisionist fantasy is breathtaking, dude. Vietnam joined the WTO in 2007' and is part of southeast asias emerging economys with a majority of the population that wasn't even alive during the war.
Vietnam was a proxy against the backdrop of a 'Cold War' which ended with total collapse of the soviet union. The US after it's withdrawl from Vietnam continued a economic blockade of Vietnam for over 25 yrs and won.
pls gtfoh
and hug a tree.

This would have so worked..total and complete anihilation of anything beyond the stone age in northern vietnam, and if the chicoms came in, blast them too.
Instead, liberals undermined the war effort and SE asia fell under the brutal subhuman condition of communism for over 25 more years.

@drinkswithnedkelly Warmongering? lol that's funny. I don't want any god damn war at all unless we have to. Iraq and Afghanistan were both mistakes imo.
War is a big money maker and the biggest racket going. All this whoplaw sounds familar. We now have the tech to never have to put a boot on the ground and still win any war, why dont we use the tech we got?? I dont like seeing my fellow americans comming home with no legs or in a body bag. No, if there were no money in war, nobody would ever fight one again. Arms and legs and human lives are very cheap!! I love america but their is a better way to settel things than this B.S we got working now..

Ezra Taft Benson's position was to not enter the war in the first place. His withdrawal plan made sense, "since we are already there, let them (US Soldiers) finish the job they thought they were sent here to do." (Kick the communists out) and then go home. The key to the whole approach was to stand behind Chiang Kai Shek, who had 600,000 troops ready to fight the communists, which we didn't, and the whole thing ended up being a complete blunder!

You were right, Mr. Wayne. We lost all the good leaders and icons like you and Bensen. We're infested with Marxist-Leninist filth. The world will soon have a thousand years of darkness.

In 1968 Ezra Taft Benson warned the American People that this was the year ( 1968 ) for America to make a decision. A decision of whether they would continue down the road of Socialism or mend their ways and choose Liberty and freedom.
As you correctly pointed out, America chose to follow the pathway towards Marxism.
