Kevin was woken up the same day by the shouts of his little brother before he heard the front door slam shut. He sat up in his bed rubbing his eyes in confusion as he read the clock. Just what was nick doing up so early? Then it clicked Sams parents must have said yes.
Kevin couldnt help but smile he was happy for his little brother he had finally found someone he deserved and he was glad he wasnt going to have to be separated from her.
He quickly dragged himself into the shower and pulled on some suitable clothes and walked down stairs into the kitchen to find his mother sat at the table smiling widely coffee in hand
"Pancake" Mrs. Jonas smiled as she held up the plate towards Kevin who shook his head politely
"I was thinking about taking Lauren out for breakfast" Kevin spoke a soft smile spreading across his mothers faces as she nodded in agreement before laughing slightly
"Is anyone going to eat these pancakes" she chuckled as Kevin made his way out the kitchen only to bump into an extremely sleep Joe still in his sweats stretching slightly as his stomach rumbled.
Kevin chuckled slightly as he shook his head
"Mum made you a whole plate of pancakes to eat" Kevin chuckled as he saw Joes eyes widened
"Really?" Joe smiled
"Really" Kevin laughed as he watched Joe practically run into the kitchen before heading out the front door.
He only made it a few steps out the front door before he stopped dead in his tracks there in front of him was Lauren
"Hey" Lauren smiled shyly
"Hey... I was just coming to see you" Kevin spoke softly
"I was just coming to see you to" Lauren smiled widely making Kevin laugh
"Did you want to get some breakfast together" Kevin asked and this time it was Laurens turn to laugh
"I was just about to ask you the same thing...Id love to" she giggled as she reached out and took Kevins hand in hers and started to pull him towards her car
"Where are we going my cars over there?" Kevin asked confused as Lauren continues to pull him along
"Are you going to let me pay for breakfast?" Lauren asked
"No of course not" Kevin answered slightly insulted she would even ask
"Well then Im driving us" Lauren laughed
"Its how we would always do it I would drive and you would pay" Kevin stopped pulling Lauren back abruptly
"That was only because you were so stubborn and its the only way I could get you to let me pay and anyway that was on dates" Kevin whined and at once Lauren blushed at looked down at the floor quickly and Kevin became quite
"Is this a date?" Kevin asked all most a whisper. When Lauren didnt answer he slowly placed his hand under her chin making her look at him
"Lauren?" Kevin encouraged softly. Lauren looked at him for a moment
"Err...I...if you still want it to be a date" Lauren blushed shyly. Kevin smiled warmly before pressing his lips softly to hers
"I dont think there has ever been a time I havent wanted to go on a date with you Lauren" Kevin chimed making Lauren blush again as they both got into her car Kevin riding shotgun.
It had only past about 15 minutes before they were before sat down in a cosy little cafe waiting for the food to be served. Kevin couldnt help but smile as he watch Lauren play nervously with the edge of the table cloth she was working up courage to ask or tell him something and he knew from experience not to push her but let her get it out in her own time.
As the waiter walked away from their table after serving their breakfast Lauren finally looked up at Kevin and looked at him shyly again.
"Do you think we could try us again?" Lauren stuttered as Kevins jaw dropped and he just looked at her in complete awe
"I mean...I just thought...maybe I..." Lauren waffled nervously as Kevin continued to just stare at her. Lauren sighed softly and it seemed to bring Kevin back to reality and a smile spread across his face before he got up from the table making his way over to Lauren crashing his lips softly against hers.
At first it took a while to get over the shock before she completely melted into the kiss placing her arms around his neck as his gently cup her cheeks. After a good few minutes Kevin finally broke away placing his forehead against hers
"You dont know how long Ive been waiting for you to ask that" Kevin breathed stroking her cheek gently. It took a moment for Lauren to compose herself before she kissed him gently again
"I love you" Lauren whispered softly
"Always have always will" Kevin breathed softly onto Laurens lips before placing his lips on hers once again turning Laurens legs to complete jelly.
This boy had once again completely stolen her heart his already belonging completely to hers.

yay, lauren and kevin finally reunited as a couple :D
love it when kevin tells joe that the pancakes are for him.
the marathon was awesome.
but now that it is over the suspense is killing me.
what will happen next??? :)
