The singer is Angelika Kirchschlager. She plays Sesto in the Glyndebourne 2006 production of Handel`s Guilio Cesare (also on Youtubes), and excellent she was too.

So - who is the singer? I have been away from the world, & never saw her - her voice is lovely! (although I wish she weren't wearing that dreadful dress)
