Some notes from teacher Rodney Smith's dharma talk about A Blameless Life. Homework from the talk. Please note that these notes *incomplete*. I wrote down as much as I could, but I didn't write down a whole lot more, and there's always context around a statement. There's also what is said and what is understood, and they're not always the same thing. So please don't take this recap as Buddhist philosophy or Buddhism itself. There are many schools and Buddhist traditions as well.
This reminds me of how devout lay people used to take notes of Dhamma talks in countries like Thailand, Birma, etc., before tape recorders were in common use :)

Happy new year. I attended 10 day's vipassana meditation a couple of years ago (in Taiwan ). The shocks are still there. I'm planning to go through it one more time this year. The noble silence of nine days...
