Robert Goodwin was my grandmother's first cousin. She was Katherine Goodwin, sister of Robert's father.

Thanks for the comment! I remember my grandfather talking about his cousins, but I don't think I was ever able to keep it all straight. I ought to work with my mother on a family tree. His mother and father are in these videos, as are my mom and uncle.

I am originally from Redfield. My family moved away in 1989 after I finished 3rd grade. I went to school with a boy whose last name was Goodwin. I think his name was Ryan. I have great memories and am sad we moved away.

Thanks for the comment. We have no relation to Ryan, as far as I know. The Goodwins moved to Des Moines in 1950.

@witmerjj "Uncle Will" was older than my grandmother, Katherine and Daniel was the youngest. They were the three youngest of 7 children. I have more information if you are interested. I don't know how to contact you, though. I am Katherine Gregory and live in Fort Smith, AR if that will help you.

"Uncle Will" was the brother just older than my grandmother, Katherine, and Daniel was the youngest. These are priceless to me. I will share this with my mother, Robert K. Goodwin's cousin. I was mistaken about what I posted earlier - Robert K. was Katherine's nephew.
