The Norton Brownsboro Hospital Project was one of the three 2010 PMI Project of the Year Award competition finalists. The hospital features a patient- and family-centered model of care and was designed with enhanced environmental and health principles that follow the Green Guide for Health Care, a best practices tool kit for planning, design, construction, operations and maintenance of new hospitals.

The five-story hospital is licensed for 127 beds and includes 16 critical care rooms, a 24-hour emergency room with 22 treatment rooms, eight operating rooms, two endoscopy suites, a catheterization lab and an interventional radiology suite.
