Roger Oakland Of Understandthetimes(dot)com talks about the false Jesus of Roman Catholicism, sometimes referred to as the "wafer god".

What many Protestants do not understand is that the doctrine of Transubstantiation naturally leads to idolatry on a massive scale.

When the priest says the words 'This is my body' official Roman Catholic doctrine teaches that it actually becomes Jesus Christ and is consumed by the faithful.

So if it is really Jesus Christ then it is right to worship it as such, isn't it?

What this video does not tell you is that teaching actually originates in Paganism with Aristotle not the Bible. In fact the stage conjurers magic words 'Hocus Pocus' actually is a rip off of the Latin words 'Hoc est corpus meum' 'This is my body'! That says a lot of how many people regarded it even before the Reformation.

"Honorl thou mother and father" is a commandment. Jesus kept all the commandments. Right?

Jesus is the way, the truth and the light? Right? Well then Jesus would have honored is mother and we are to follow Jesus.

World Book dictionary - Honor - means to great respect, high regard

Sounds like we should follow Jesus and honor his mother, too, like the Catholics are doing.

@maddie7111 Honouring is not the same as being made into a Mediatrix, which biblically is little more than pagan goddess worship.

In fact the Lord gave no special honour to Mary in his ministry.

Read Matt 12:46-50, Luke 11:27-28.

So we should give Mary the same honour, but NO MORE than that! Mary was nothing more than a woman of faith but also a sinner in need of a saviour.

The first is for true Christian’s but the second is for unbelievers in Christ's true gospel of faith without works!

This man speaks opposite of what Jesus spoke in the bible.

Does this man have an agenda to persecute the catholic church? Was he an ex-catholic and bitter?

Catholics love Jesus and our church is built on Jesus giving the keys of the kingdom to St. Peter and then chose 12 apostles to spread the true gospel. He said "Upon this rock I will build my church and the gates of hell will not prevail against it."

John 6:63 It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing. The WORDS THAT I SPEAK TO YOU ARE SPIRIT, and they are life.

In other words the words 'bread' and 'flesh' are meant to be taken spiritually or symbolically.
