Lyrics

The long walk home,
back to a no name town.
Where people pass me by
in red and white lines.
Your only son can't make you proud.
The moon and stars, this frozen clock.

And if in years to come we can talk like friends,
can I close my eyes and wake up then?

Drown out the sound of adulthood
with songs that fell from out of space.
At seventeen I wouldn't dare to dream
because hope's a dangerous thing.

I won't thank god, I'll thank my friends,
for sticking by till we're home again.
What matters most to me belongs to you.
Hope's a dangerous thing.

I pinch myself to see,
that if this curtain drops, this isn't me.
Pack my bags, no time to waste.
We leave no trace of us.
Still my pillow rings.

  • This song made me remove my shirt and tweak my nipples

  • Didn't think much of that, I hope more material is in the vein of Devil's Island.

  • @keller43561 It's symbolic of the "All Seeing Eye" I have a theory that if bands and artists put iconic Illuminati related symbols on their artwork, t-shirts, and music videos that they are granted more success and exposure. But then that's just my opinion... so if you wanna get big put a triangle on the cover of your demo lol

Enter Shikari on the other hand have an upside down triangle on their new album and sing about a broken system perhaps they are anti Illuminati

  • @keller43561 Dont forget stick to your guns

  • @keller43561 could be that or the recycling symbol :P

  • @ballbabyjin684

i suppose that's comforting....is it related to the all seeing eye? like on the US one dollar bill perhaps?

  • @keller43561 lol wuts up with seeing shit like that like memphis may fire used the in all there song names then attack attack did and then woe is me did a cover of a katey perry and the whole time the lyrics r flying everywhere and i saw that with another new band on rise do that with one of there videos but enter shiks triangle is upside down if that counts for anything :P

  • Hey guys, could every check out my college music video I did for this beautiful song please, means alot

    /watch?v=5A9xw2LtPWg
